LOS ANGELES, CA
White, Welded, Watertight. Built for Flat Roofs in the Heat.
TPO roofing in Los Angeles is the system we put on most flat and low-slope buildings: a single-ply white membrane, mechanically fastened or fully adhered over the deck, with every seam hot-air welded into one continuous sheet. No tar kettle, no gravel, no laps relying on adhesive to stay shut.
Los Angeles Commercial Roofing & Roof Repair installs and repairs TPO from our yard on La Brea Ave — warehouses, strip centers, apartment buildings, churches and houses with flat sections. Every roof goes on with manufacturer-spec detailing so the 20-year warranty actually holds.
Los Angeles bakes. The town sits in a bowl at the foot of the Verdugo and San Gabriel Mountains, summer runs hotter than the coast, and the sun works on a flat roof every day of the year. A white TPO membrane reflects most of that heat instead of holding it, which keeps the space below cooler and takes load off the air conditioning.
We pull the old roof, or on a sound substrate we go over it with a cover board instead.
Any soft decking gets replaced, then polyiso goes down where the building wants the R-value.
Sheets are rolled, relaxed and set out so the seams run the right way for drainage.
Every lap is welded and probed. A welded seam is as strong as the sheet itself — that is the whole point of TPO.
Curbs, drains, pipes, parapets and edge metal, all detailed to the manufacturer's spec so the warranty stands.
Straight talk: TPO needs drainage. If a roof holds water because it has no slope and the drains sit high, the honest fix is tapered insulation or a silicone coating system, not a membrane sitting in a pond. We will tell you which one your roof needs after we measure it.
The membrane gets the attention, but the details are what keep the water out:
Single-ply, reflective and UV stable, in the thickness the building and warranty call for.
Hot air fuses sheet to sheet, so the laps are not a weak point waiting to open.
Pipes, curbs, drains and parapets — where nearly every flat roof leak actually starts.
R-value under the sheet, and a hard board so foot traffic and hail do not dent the system.
A properly installed TPO roof runs twenty years and up, and the manufacturer warranty of up to 20 years is written against the system — membrane, insulation, fasteners and detailing together. That is why we do not mix parts between systems or skip the specified edge metal: a cheaper detail voids the paper that makes the roof worth buying.
A TPO roof is easy to live with. Punctures and bad welds are repaired by welding in a new patch, so the fix becomes part of the sheet instead of a bandage. Two things keep one going: clear the drains before the rainy season, and have the flashings and seams looked at once a year. We handle both, on roofs we installed and on roofs we did not.
We install TPO throughout Los Angeles, Tujunga, Shadow Hills, Lake View Terrace, La Crescenta, Sylmar and the rest of the northeast San Fernando Valley, commercial and residential. Flat roof work is dry-weather work, so the calendar tightens once the rain starts — call early.
We’ll measure the roof, check the deck, drains and flashings, and quote the system that fits the building.

LOS ANGELES, CA TPO ROOFING
Most single-family roofs in Los Angeles are done in two to four days once materials are on site. Larger or steeper roofs, or jobs with deck repairs, run longer and we say so up front.
It does. If a Los Angeles roof holds water because it has no slope, we look at tapered insulation or a coating system instead.
Yes. Punctures and failed welds are repaired by welding in a new patch, so the repair becomes part of the sheet.
Yes, licensed, bonded and insured, with workers' compensation on every crew. Certificates are available before work starts.
For most flat and low-slope buildings, yes. The membrane is white and reflective, the seams are hot-air welded, and the system carries a manufacturer warranty.
We do. Permits and inspections go through the local building department and we handle the paperwork rather than leaving it to you.
Twenty years and up when it is installed to spec, with the insulation, fasteners and detailing the warranty names.
You get the manufacturer warranty on the materials and ours on the workmanship, both in writing. The paperwork is registered for you and transfers if you sell.
